Policy Incentives for the Creation of Knowledge: Methods and Evidence - PICK-ME to participate in the EU - Israel Seminar on Innovation and Technology Transfer
The EU-Israel Innovation & Technology Transfer Seminar took place in Tel Aviv on 25-26 November 2012 and was a joint effort of the EU delegation and six European embassies to Israel. It was a continuation of the last year’s Start-up Workshop and it brought representatives of government authorities, innovation-support organizations, private companies and universities from Israel, Poland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic. The goal of the event was the exchange of experiences and best practices among the participating countries on innovation systems and policies, academia-industry technology transfer, high-tech ventures’ financing and internationalization. The seminar balanced the Israel’s and other countries’ experiences and inspired discussions on various mechanisms and approaches to technology transfer and innovation generation.
The Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of Poland in Tel Aviv invited CASE to participate to this event within the project PICK-ME in order to share views and project results on knowledge creation and dissemination policies in Poland and CEE. A presentation on “The €10 billion question”: How to most effectively support enterprise innovation in Poland" was given.
The presentation brought further discussion among seminar participants and in Israeli media.
