Review on Privatization in Kazakhstan

Julian Pankow, Władyslaw Jermakowicz and Piotr Kozarzewski analyzed the progress of privatization process in Kazakhstan. The report, containing policy recommendations, was passed on to President Nazarbayev, Vice-president Asanbayev and Prime Minister Kazhegeldin at a series of meetings held in May 1995 in Almaty, at which Leszek Balcerowicz, Marek Dabrowski and Julian Pankow participated. The project was financed by the UNDP and UNCTAD.
