Professor Leszek Balcerowicz became President’s Poroshenko Representative in Government

Professor Leszek Balcerowicz, member of the CASE Supervisory Council and an architect of successful Polish reforms, became President’s Poroshenko Representative in the Cabinet of Ministers. Respective Decree was signed by Petro Poroshenko on Friday.

President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman had a meeting with Leszek Balcerowicz and Ivan Mikloš. Professor Balcerowicz was also appointed Advisor to the President of Ukraine and Co-Chairman of the Group of Strategic Advisors on the Support for Reforms in Ukraine. Ivan Mikloš became another Co-Chairman of the Group. He will also chair the group of advisors to the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Leszek Balcerowicz told that he would, inter alia, work with western investors and politicians in order to outline real situation in Ukraine and show achievements of the country on the track of reforms.
