Poland's Economy after the Elections: Is Inflation a threat?
"The Polish economy lost some of its momentum in the third quarter of 2007. Though inflationary pressures were modest in the third quarter, there are signs that demand factors will soon surface and add tensions to the flucutations in the CPI rate, " warn members of the CASE Macroeconomic forecasting team. The latest Polish Economic Outlook (3/2007) was released at a press conference at CASE on 13 November. In this edition of the quarterly, the authors devote a special section to the economic consequences of the early parliamentary elections.
