Global Think Tank ranking: CASE ranked 4 in social policy think tanks worldwide
CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research has been ranked fourth among Top Social Policy Think Tanks in world, according to the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report for 2015. This shows an improvement of one spot over last year’s rankings.
Christopher A. Hartwell, President of CASE, noted that “CASE’s outstanding results across the board are a testament to the rigorous analysis that CASE’s researchers and fellows are known for. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, we are pleased to see that our hard work over the past quarter-century has paid off in terms of impact and in terms of acknowledgement by the think tank community.”
Select institutions are nominated by over 4,600 scholars, public and private donors, policy makers, and journalists, which assess over 6,000 think tanks from all over the world. CASE has been ranked highly in the Global Think Tank ranking since 2011.
The Polish launch of the report took place during the debate "The Role of Think Tanks in Shaping U.S. and EU Policy towards Russia” at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM). CASE salutes PISM for reaching the number 1 position in CEE. Combined with CASE’s high position among social policy think tanks, Poland-based think tanks clearly are having an impact on an international audience of policymakers and researchers.
