Firms, Competitiveness and the Knowledge-Based Economy
Nearing the completion of the MICRO-DYN research project, CASE met with all participating institutions for an academic conference in Cambridge, 6-10 September 2010. CASE presented two final reports compiled by Anna Wziatek-Kubiak, Ewa Balcerowicz, Marek Peczkowski, Iraj Hashi and Nebojsa Stojcic. The impact of innovation activities on firm performance using a multi-stage model: evidence from the CIS4 is available on the CASE website as CASE Network Studies and Analyses No. 410. Complementarities between barriers of innovation: panel data evidence from Poland will be published in the coming weeks.
MICRO-DYN analyzed the competitiveness of firms, regions and industries in the knowledge-based economy, and explored the potential for job-rich growth in Europe.
