Geological exploration works conducted in Zawiercie County, provided promising estimates indicating the presence of significant deposits of zinc and lead ores within its borders. If the exploitation of zinc and lead ore was economically viable, it could trigger investments in the mine. Such a large-scale investment would generate a number of economic consequences for the residents and for the entire region.
