Description:
Aiming to respond to various challenges brought on by the economic crisis, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia has recognized the need to improve its internal procedures and functioning, as well as to develop clear rules and regulations that prescribes governance and management, division of responsibilities, following best practices of similar Ministries in other (mostly more economically and institutionally advanced) European countries.
During the two stage project CASE is providing advisory services to improve management procedures at the Ministry. An Inception Report developed during Stage 1 of the project provides an institutional diagnosis and develops a detailed plan and timetable for the next stage. During Stage 2, CASE is providing the Ministry with a map of narrowly defined interventions in areas of crucial importance for improving governance system and internal management in the Ministry of Finance.
