Yury Valevich

Yury Valevich (born 1977) is an expert of the Research Centre of the Institute for Privatisation and Management (now - IPM-CASE Research Centre).

In 1999 he graduated from the Belarusian State University (MA in Economics).

In 1999-2002 Yury Valevich was a post-graduate student at the Belarusian State University (PhD thesis - “Economic Equilibrium in Institutional Dimension"). Since January 2000 he is a lecturer on Public Sector Economics and economics at the Economics Department of the Belarusian State University. Since July 2002 he works in the IPM as an expert of the Research Centre.

Yury Valevich is the executive secretary of the IPM's economic journal “ECOWEST" and coordinator of the project “Economists' Forum", supported by the German government. He is an author of about 10 scientific publications.
