Andrzej Rzonca
Andrzej Rzońca is a habilitated doctor of economic sciences and a professor at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). He is a graduate of SGH and the WEMBA program of SGH and the University of Minnesota. Dr. Rzońca has held research fellowships at the World Bank and the European Central Bank, and serves on company supervisory boards. His past positions include chair of the Association of Polish Economists, member of the Monetary Policy Council, chief economist at the Altus investment fund, vice president of the Civil Development Forum, adviser to the president of the National Bank of Poland and CASE contributor. Dr. Rzońca’s awards include the Kronenberg Foundation prize and awards from the Polish Academy of Sciences’ Fryderyk Skarbek Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty and the Polish Academy of Sciences’ Financial Sciences Committee.
