CASE tax workshop: Taxes and the European Green Deal
We are pleased to inform that the 4th edition of a two-day scientific workshop on economic analysis of the Polish tax system will take place on October 18 and 26, 2021. The event is organized by CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Poland, CenEA – the Centre for Economic Analysis, Łazarski University, the Institute for Structural Research and the Institute of Responsible Finance.
The main goal of the workshop is to build connections among Polish economists and scholars (law, sociology and psychology experts) and to review their current research. We would like to invite scientists working on both theoretical studies and empirical ones. The workshop will emphasise the following fields of research:

(Non)effectiveness of the tax system;

The distributional consequences of tax burden and benefits;

Tax incidence;
-
Tax avoidance and evasion; tax morality.
We invite all interested, including those who will not present their works.
