Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of California in Davis and a Special Advisor for East Asian Economies in the Millennium Project of the United Nations, Wing Thye Woo is also a visiting researcher at the Earth Institute of Columbia University. Currently he focuses on areas including international financial relations, economic development, the economics of exchange rates, and the economies of East Asia – mainly China and Indonesia.
