CASE and partners – Ocalenie Foundation and Foundation for Somalia – are launching a new project addressed to foreign nationals residing in Poland.

Within the framework of the project called “My chance in Poland” we will test an innovative model of support for adults. Persons participating in the project will be able to improve the level of their skills in understanding and creating information, mathematical reasoning, digital skills and social competences through support comprising of training, counselling and, for those willing to benefit from it, psychological assistance.

The support within the framework of the project “My chance in Poland” is addressed to foreigners who:

  • are at least 25 years old,
  • have the right to legal employment in Poland,
  • have basic skills in understanding and creating information, mathematical reasoning, digital skills and social competences (level no higher than 3 according to Polish Qualification Framework).

To apply, foreign nationals have to fill in the application form, available in three language versions: English, Russian and Polish.

Foreigners constitute a growing group in the Polish labour market. At the same time, activities oriented at improving their skills are not undertaken in a systematic and innovative way. The innovativeness of our model consists in comprehensive support for this group by combining training and mentoring and applying innovative training methods.

The project “My chance in Poland” is implemented as part of the project “SZANSA – new opportunities for adults”, co-financed by the European Union within the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.
