Privatization in the Russian Federation

Abstract

The uniqueness of Russia with respect to privatization lies not only in its far from optimal combination of different particular methods of privatization (this is typical of the majority of countries in transition). Russia became the only post-Socialist state characterized by a combination of different approaches towards the privatization process as a whole.
