Luca Barbone has been the Director for Economic Management and Poverty Reduction, Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank since 2007.  Since joining the World Bank he has been an Economist in the Latin America and Caribbean Region, worked in the Africa Department and has been the Director for Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.  Mr. Barbone has also worked for the Organisation for Cooperation and Development (Paris), the International Monetary Fund, the Planning Institute of Jamaica, and the Bank of Italy.  He has authored numerous articles in professional journals and books.  He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Maciej Krzak is a macroeconomist at CASE-Center for Social and Economic Research, where he is the leader of the Polish Economic Outlook team.  He is also an adjunct professor the Lazarski University in Warsaw and an expert at the Polish Confederation of Private Employers - Lewiatan. In the past he has been the chief economist of several including Citibank and ING and a consultant at the Institute of International Finance in Washington, DC.
