CASE took part in „NEUJOBS validation event” in Bratislava
The First Validation Event took place in Bratislava, 26-29 September within the NEUJOBS project. The aim of the conference was to gather key project experts as well as graduate students interested in the areas covered by the research. During this three-day event all the researchers presented their research findings on the topics related to socio-ecological transition (SET), human capital and quality of employment and the new welfare state.
CASE experts, Izabela Styczynska and Constantin Zaman represented the panel on Territorial Aspects of Employment presenting CASE paper on ‘Agglomeration in Europe in the context of SET’. Other speakers within the same panel, Nicole van der Gaag from NIDI and Kurt Geppert from DIW presented their findings on ‘Population ageing, economic competitiveness and regional disparities’ and ‘Socio-economic trends and new territorial dynamics in the EU: Convergence and agglomeration’.
CASE Fellow, Elena Jarocinska, gave a summary of the three papers presented within the same CASE-led work package outlining the main findings and potential future research.
