CASE Fellows at the economic congress – “Kastryčnіckі Ekanamіčny Forum”

Marek Dabrowski and Uladzimir Valetka, Case Fellows, were the guest speakers at the economic congress “Kastryčnіckі Ekanamіčny Forum” (KEF) that was held in on the 5th November, 2013 Minsk, Belarus. The forum was organized by the IPM Research Center in cooperation with Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC) and CASE Belarus. The main purpose of the forum was to create a platform for open professional dialogue on sustainable development in Belarus.

 

The conference was attended by representatives of economic authorities, as well as Belarusian and foreign economists. In addition, CASE Fellows (Irina Tochitskaya, Alexander Chubrik), Executive  Director CASE Ukraine Dmytro Boyarchuk, and CASE Belarus associates (Sierz Naurodski, Dmitriy Babickiy) participated in the forum. Prof. Dabrowski delivered presentation “Tendencies in the Global economy: Challenges for Countries of the Region” and Dr Valetka discussed the “Influence of Remittances from Labour Migrants on Some Macroeconomic Indicators of Belarus”.
