CASE at the “Think Tanks: Facing the Changing World” meeting in Beijing
Marek Dąbrowski, CASE Fellow, was invited to speak at the international conference entitled “Think Tanks: Facing the Changing World”, organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Beijing on June 17th and 18th, 2013. The goal of the meeting was to discuss the role of think tanks in influencing public debate and policy-making in the context of various socio-economic and environmental changes in the world. The guests, representatives of top think tanks from different regions as well as senior management of CASS and its member institutes discussed the ways to strengthen networking and cooperation between government bodies and NGOs and exchanged views on issues concerning China’s development to achieve inclusive, sustainable growth in the future.
In his presentation, Marek Dąbrowski discussed the perspectives of economic growth in the context of the global financial and economic crisis.
