CASE at the “Impact of demographic change on health care workforce” workshop in Berlin
On July 11th, the researchers working on the FP7 NEUJOBS project met in Berlin at DIW to participate in the workshop “Impact of demographic change on health care workforce”. This meeting was devoted to discussing the results of the Work Package 12 on “Health care and services for an ageing population”. CASE was represented by Stanisława Golinowska and Agnieszka Sowa, who presented the results of employment projections in the human health sector in Poland. During the meeting, results of similar projections for Denmark, Germany, Italy and Slovakia were discussed and compared with Polish findings. Furthermore, the potential of the silver economy in the EU-27 countries was addressed.
