Asssessment and Forecasts for Polish Economy for 2007-2008

An assessment of the current economic situation in Poland and forecasts for 2007 and 2008 will be presented at the CASE press confrence on 19 September 2007 in Warsaw at the CASE offices on ul Sienkiewicza 12, 4th floor.

The conference will be led by Dr Maciej Krzak - editor-in-chief and Małgorzata Jakubiak, both co-authors of the quartely "Polish Economic Outlook".

Polish Economic Outlook is an independent, macroeconomic quarerly published by CASE since 1999. It is published due to support of Bank PEKAO SA and Fortis Banku Polska SA.

CASE forecasts presented in Polish Economic Outlook have been recognized as the best prognosis in the ranking of macroeconomic forecasts of Polish economy in 1999-2006, according to the leading Polish daily, Gazeta Wyborcza [22.08.2007].
